Piazza di Spagna, with the stairway of Trinità dei Monti, is one of the most famous in Rome. It takes its name from the presence of the palace of the same name, seat of the embassy of the Iberian state to the Holy See since 1622. In the center is the Fontana della Barcaccia, created by Pietro Bernini and his son Gian Lorenzo.

Arriving in Rome by train, you reach Roma Termini Station located in Piazza dei Cinquecento right in front of the Term of Diocletian from which the station derives its name.

From here you have to take the ATAC bus to get to the Piazza di Spagna. There are bus stops and ticket offices right outside the station.
