The Colosseum is a monument of ancient Rome which is located on the slopes
del Colle Oppio in front of the entrance to the Forum area. Built between 70 and 80 AD. from the Flavian dynasty it was and remains the largest Roman amphitheater in the world.

Arriving in Rome by train, you reach Roma Termini Station located in Piazza dei Cinquecento right in front of the Baths of Diocletian from which the station derives its name.
From here you have to take the ATAC bus to get to the Colosseum. There are bus stops and ticket offices right outside the station.
The stops near the Colosseum - there are several - allow you to reach some of the most popular places of Rome including the Campidoglio and the Capitoline Museums, the famous Trajan's Column, the Imperial Forums and the Roman Forum, the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia.

– Annual Lazio in Zones: valid for 365 days from the date shown on the pass for an unlimited number of trips in the Lazio region relating to the areas indicated on the pass.
– Lazio Annual Student Zone: valid from September to June for an unlimited number of trips within the Lazio region relating to the zones indicated on the pass.
– Ordinary Monthly Pass + Urban Service: valid for the calendar month shown on the pass, for an unlimited number of journeys in the Lazio region relating to the areas indicated on the pass and in the municipality concerned.
– Zone Pass for Students + Urban Service: valid from 1st December September to 30 June, for an unlimited number of journeys, in the Lazio region relating to the areas indicated on the pass and in the municipality concerned
